One of the premier coaches and educators in the throwing events, Cappos spent 25 years coaching in the Big Ten Conference at Iowa and Nebraska, he coached athletes to over 50 Big Ten titles, over 100 All-American honors and four national records in three different countries. Several of his former athletes have competed internationally including appearances in the World Championships and Olympic Games. Cappos is now a private coach, in 2022 alone his athletes won three national championships, broke two state records, and won multiple state titles.

Best known for his Throw Big Throw Far PodCast, Frontier is one of the top high school coaches in the country.  He started Madison Throws Club for middle school and high school throwers in 2002 where he has trained athletes to 53 State Championships and 42 Runner-ups in Wisconsin and trained 7 Illinois State Champions. Countless MTC throwers have moved on to compete at the NCAA DI, DII, and DIII levels and gone on to win 11 NCAA Championships and numerous All-American Honors.
